Is the lien math right?
Yes — and we get the parts most tools get wrong. Preservation is the trigger date plus 60 days (substantial completion for a GC; last date of supply for a sub or supplier, tracked separately). Perfection is another 90 days on top of that — 150 days total from the trigger, not "90 days after last supply." You will see a "46 days" figure floating around online; it does not exist anywhere in Ontario law and we never use it. We compute against the Construction Act, watch the clock, and warn you well before a date bites.
Does it file my Form 7?
No — you file it, and that is on purpose. WSIB Form 7 is due within 3 business days of the incident, excluding weekends and Ontario statutory holidays, so the calendar math is easy to get wrong under pressure. We count those business days correctly, show you the exact deadline, and remind you before it lands. Filing stays in your hands so nothing official goes out without you.
How does HST work?
We bill 13% Ontario HST on every invoice and produce CRA-compliant documents — your GST/HST number, line items, tax shown, totals, the works. Each invoice carries a Stripe payment link so a customer can pay in a couple of taps, and overdue invoices chase themselves with reminders. We also flag your HST remittance dates so a filing deadline never sneaks up.
What's the AI allowed to do?
It drafts. It never sends. Every AI estimate is stamped "Draft — Review Required" with no one-tap send path, so you read it, fix it, and decide before anything reaches a customer. The same rule covers AI follow-ups and review replies: the software prepares the work, you approve every send. The compliance figures are computed math, not a model guessing — the AI never sets a legal deadline.
What does it cost?
Pricing is coming soon. The plan is simple: start on the compliance base — lien tracking, WSIB Form 7 deadlines, HST invoicing — and add the AI automation when you are ready for it. Compliance leads; the AI is an upsell you choose, never something forced on day one. You can look around without a credit card.
Is my data isolated?
Yes. Every record is scoped to your organization and protected by row-level security in the database, so one contractor can never see another contractor's jobs, invoices, or deadlines. Payments run through Stripe-hosted pages and the AI runs server-side — your data is not shipped into a public model, and privileged actions never touch the browser.
